I'm in the midwest U.S. and Meijer grocery stores have $.33/lb turkeys of all sizes, technically limited to one per customer but I've been grabbing two each shopping trip for the last few weeks, also can take those two out to vehicle then go back into store and get two more. Meijer isn't the only source of cheap turkey; lots of grocery stores all over the U.S. have super cheap turkey this time of year so you can stock up and fill freezers with them like I do every year, then anytime I want turkey I have one available to cook all winter long. :)
