I paid my dentist upfront (patient financial responsibility) 896 dollars for my wisdom tooth removal (three teeth) the bill came out to 2624 sent to Humana, they paid 168 and 40 in benefits and a participating provider discount of 1145. leaving 1271, after some math I don’t understand the actual paper itself says amount due: 503.
If I paid 896 already why am I being billed 503?
