I am a soon to be graduate student, and have questions about salaries, benefits, time off, contributions and all that jazz. I want to ask these questions to peers in my field, but am worried that I will come off as disrespectful. I am looking to set up a relaxed meeting with other students to discuss these topics, will it come off as inappropriate to the university department (social work)? It just seems like other students have these thoughts, but career services department never seems to cover these "touchy" subjects. What are your thoughts around this norm? and do you think a meeting like what I described would be well received?
