Look at NTDOY or STLA, there are a lot of gap ups and gap downs making the candlestick chart looks spaced out compared to say an AAPL chart. I’m not even talking about earning related events, it’s like there’s a gap to start almost every trading day, like that’s completely normal and to be expected for some companies.
I have no idea why this is. Does it have to with liquidity or the times these companies are traded, or exchanges? I’m really not sure. Can somebody explain?
