I got a mop with an attached little spray canister like many of them have. I don't know what solution to put in there. I tried a mix of simple green and windex, but the floors stunk pretty bad afterwards. I looked at some in-store mop solutions but they were very potent and I did not like the smell of any of them.
I don't think I can put bleach inside the little plastic spray bottle, it might just eat through it?
I know when it comes to cleaning, vinegar works great for everything, but I hate the smell of vinegar.
Doesn't have to be a DIY solution, even though this is /r/frugal, I'm just looking for something to add to the soap/water (which is soaked into the mop head) so my floors (tiled) don't stink after mopping.
