I haven't spoken to my bank yet. I use schwab and they don't support Zelle officially so I just linked it through my debit card.
Over the course of 2 weeks I've been sent $40, $180, and $200. Nobody has reached out to me asking for the money back. I have no intention of sending it back without them asking as from what I understand it's within the realm of possibility that the transactions are voided (even if rare) and then Im out double. The funds are already in my bank account.
The only possible person it might be is my ex girlfriend / ex best friend. We had a really bad breakup when she nearly drunk herself to death and wouldn't go to rehab. It's possible she's sending me money for all the times I spotted her but is too embarrassed to text me. But I don't think so. I looked on her account and she doesn't follow anybody by this name.
Any thoughts?
