My mortgage was just transferred to a new lender last month. My draft date has always been the first of the month and the auto-pay information was transferred from the previous lender. I noticed my checking account was never drafted for the monthly amount this past Friday, but my mortgage account says the payment was made and that I am current. Is…is it free? Am I obligated to tell them they didn’t actually draft my account even though by their records they have already considered the month paid?
