I have video and photo evidence of my car from when I lost control because of my brakes and I swerved off the side of the road. I called my insurance but before they got there another tow truck driver offered to get me out for $150. He said he could do it in 5 mins and I should be good so I thought it would've been worth it.
However, dude FLIPPED MY CAR COMPLETELY UPSIDE DOWN (which resulted in the dash and multiple parts breaking and the frame being squished. It's totaled), AND THEN LEFT...
I have video evidence of him towing it + the license plate and evidence of the damage after they totaled it.
When my insurance got there and the cops got there they said that the tow truck had two violations and the insurance company offered me an attorney to file a claim against the other tow truck driver since I have evidence.
I'm new to all of this. It's my first time being in this situation in general. Do you guys have any advice on what I should do? I know forsure im going to press the tow truck driver. What do yall think about this situation?
BTW the car is a 2015 Lexus CT200h. IK a hybrid but i really loved it and its gas efficiency dawg 😭
