I am currently 22 years old. I just recently moved out of a toxic household so that I can live happily alone. The main problem that I am currently facing at the moment is my constant monthly debt.

I work full-time at a chocolate factory that pays $18/hour for a fully-trained production worker but because I am not 3 months in yet, I am only getting paid $16.50/hour. I work at this job in the afternoons from 3 PM to 11 PM.

My main passion in life is to become a musician. I wake up at 4 in the morning, do some cardio (from 5 AM to 7:30 AM) and then work on my online presence (from 8 AM to 2 PM) - whether it would be through working on my music, my website, my social media presence, etc. If I can make it in the industry, then I feel like I can at least have that peace of mind.

Below I have provided my monthly expenses:

  • AMAZON PRIME (STUDENT) (I use this for its free photo storage since I do a lot of photography with my phone) - $4/month
  • VIRGIN MOBILE (My Younger Sister and My Bill Together) - $110/month
  • CANADIAN TIRE MASTERCARD (I bought a used car to be able to commute) - $7000 ($400/month??)
  • GROCERIES - $165/month
  • GAS - $250/month
  • CAR MAINTENANCE (I am just splitting the average annual cost for car maintenance into months) - $100/month
  • HYDRO - $100/month
  • APARTMENT - $1650/month
  • INTERNET - $80/month
  • CAR+TENANT INSURANCE - $330/month
  • ~~TOTAL MONTHLY PAYMENTS = $3200/month~~
  • FACTORY EARNINGS = $2640/month
  • ~~TOTAL MONTHLY DEBT~~ = -$560/month

I do have free time in the afternoons on the weekends. Should I do Uber/UberEats/Instacart? Or is there a better side job choice that I can choose? Are there any payments that I can cut even lower?

I would really love any advice that anyone has.

I don't want to be any more lost in debt than I already am. It's literally come to the point where I am limiting myself to just live on oatmeal, protein powder and multivitamins just to keep my body functioning.

TLDR; I have a monthly debt of $560 and I need some desperate help, please.
