I, and only myself in a 300 person company, were sold to another company. I'm told there's nothing they can do about my un-vested 401K monies.

The whole situation is weird, it's always seemed like they operated seat of the pants, and I don't know what rights I have to that money.

I understand that if I had quit I would lose it, but I had no say in this. Do they owe it to me?
