Hello, my fellow frugal people. I’m curious as to where people buy their coffee?
I am an at home coffee brewer and prefer higher quality beans to use in my pour over or drip coffee makers. My wife signed me up for Atlas Coffee Club for my birthday and I got hooked on home brewing with high quality, single origin coffee beans. The cost ended up being about $20 per bag per month, which is more than I want to spend.
For the past six months to a year, I have been doing a coffee subscription through Torch Coffee Roasters in Portland. The subscription I use is the ‘Almost Perfect Coffee’ subscription, which costs $32 for eight 250 mg bags of coffee (4.4 pounds). Their coffee is very good, especially considering the cost of $4 per bag. While I like the subscription, I often get sent a large espresso bean bag with my order since you essentially have to take whatever they can give you.
Has anyone else found a solid coffee roaster that provides a good coffee subscription that doesn’t break the bank?
If not, I highly recommend Torch Coffee Roasters for the quality and price. If yes, please let me know what others have found!
