I've been researching for weeks cordless stick vacuums. I have a three story townhome, two cats, and a mix of wood floor/carpet/rugs, and so I knew I needed a lightweight vacuum that would be strong enough to handle pets. After a lot of research and wanting to keep my budget around $150, I couldn't find a vacuum that fit the above-listed criteria and was functionally designed and built to last. All the reviews I read always seemed to refer back to Dyson being the gold standard, but I knew Dyson was out of my budget. However, after a quick Google search, I learned Dyson has their own outlet for expertly refurbished vacuums. All this to say, I scored a Dyson V8 Animal stick vacuum for $200 (a little above budget, but I think it'll be worth it in the long-run), and they're $400 new! I thought I'd share in case anyone else is on the market. I know Dyson may not be the cheapest option, but because I've read the quality is outstanding, I think it fits the criteria for frugal as it should last for quite a long time! ***Disclaimer. Absolutely not sponsored in any way. Just a gal really excited about finding a Dyson within my price range.***
