For reference I’m 23M.
I started a job as an inside sales rep for a fortune 250 company Jan 2021, 7 months later I have accepted a promotion to Territory Manager.
My initial salary was $56,000 Mid year review was 4% raise: $58,000 Promotion: 20.2%: $70,000 + company car, company phone, car insurance, gas, company credit card [for taking clients out] Annual sales incentive of 17.9% [13k nearly].
Am I silly for signing the offer quickly? I feel like 24% in one year is incredible, + all the other perks. I think I’m nervous because I’m moving [company relocation package covers all my moving expenses and gives me half a months salary as well as moving bonus].
But previously I lived with my family for free, so in the grand scheme of things.. I’ll be making less once cost of living is calculated. I’ll be living in Austin Tx, estimated COL $2100 a month. Rent being $1765 not including electric [based on the apt im likely to choose]
