I’m a first time, stay-at-home mom and I’ve been contemplating going back to work, but then I ran the numbers and it is way more cost-effective for me to stay home.

2nd Car $6500 Car Insurance $1000 Gas $600 Maintenance $1000 Childcare $20,800 Health Insurance $6600 Work Clothes $500
Total: $37,000
And there goes my salary! Looks like my job is clearly at home finding ways to save money instead of bringing it in. Anyone else in a similar predicament?
