As in the title, I'm an American citizen who worked in the UK for 2 years. I built up around 10k GBP in a employer-contributed pension fund, which I'm a bit puzzled about what to do with since I don't anticipate returning to the UK any time soon.
There doesn't seem to be an easy way to transfer it to another currency - how will payments work with such a small fund if I don't maintain a GBP bank account? What have others in similar situations done? Thanks for the advice in advance! It's just enough money I can't forget about it but no idea what I should do with it.
