I just graduated high school last month, and I planned on giving myself a year break from school so I can work and save up money. My money is in my joint account with my parents, and due to family drama, I'm not comfortable with them having control over the money I worked for. Where can I open up a personal bank account for myself? If it works the way I think it does, I'd rather have a bank that gives me a debit card over having a credit card.
