I did my taxes on paper this year and mailed them. I know it takes longer but because of how my preparer does them this is easiest for me. I mailed them sometime after 4/15, but not too much later. Maybe the 20th or so. I still haven't received my return! I get it that mailing them and waiting for the deposit takes a long time, and that this year is exceptional for many reasons, but everything I've found to check my status leads to the same dead-end. Both irs.gov and the phone service say they have no info. I've tried the "talk to a live person" at the irs work around and that gets me an automated response that says they can't help me. Is a 13+ week turn around what others are experiencing? Are there any other options on how to contact someone?
