Someone told me of being teased as a child being called a "soup-eater." She said her large family (9) rented a house on the ocean each summer to spend time with cousins from a large family (12). Other kids called her this name saying the reason they could afford to rent the summer house was because they were very frugal the rest of the year.
I later though, I'm a "soup-eater" too. I would rather be frugal in lots of areas of my life to spend time and money on what I really want like travel and lying in bed. Thoughts? I think being a "soup-eater" is a positive, thinking what's really valuable. Are you a soup-eater and why?
