I stayed with etfs and mutual funds to minimize involvement. Now I have time and energy for cherry picking and think there can be good opportunities. I have learned/read the basics, bought access to Morningstar and Seeking Alfa; starting all sorts of analysis with sectors, valuations, trends, etc, to screen for potential picks. But yet feeling unsure… perhaps the turbulent times besides my lack of experience?!
Any advice for me? For taking the first plunge? I just want a good start.
All pointers and guidance will be greatly appreciated. TIA
