Here is some information to help you help me! I am a married 33 y/o who has recently purchased a $200,000 home. We put down the requisite 20%. Our combined salary is about $110,000 and we have about $60,000 in savings. We have spent around $10,000 in home upgrades since living here (both sump storm drain and sewer line replacement so little chance of a water disaster). Our monthly expenses are about $3500 (that includes mortgage, both car leases, groceries, pet expenses for both of our cats and other items). Finally, we have our sequel wedding coming up as the first one was only 10 ppl a la covid which will be about $20,000 in October and we are most likely planning on kids in the next 5 years. We have maybe $20,000 in maxed match 401Ks.
