Seen so many commercials about AFLAC on TV about how it helps with expenses and medical bills after accidents and/or hospitalizations due to surgery.
I recently had an appendectomy and my health insurance covered 2/3 of expenses, but now I owe $15K in medical bills. Also, the time I was out of work (about 4 weeks) kinda threw my financials off for a little while; i.e: rent, bills, car insurance...etc; and disability disbursements take too long and is not comprehensive.
Would AFLAC have been worth having in my case ?
Please share your experiences. I am considering in getting supplemental insurance if there is ever any other similar circumstance in the future and to also have my family covered.
