My wife and I would like to build onto our house with the intention of staying in it for at least another decade. The addition would check a few boxes to make our house perfect for us. After talking with a designer, it seems like the build will cost about $150k
According to Zillow, our house is worth 250k. We still owe about $140k…some kind of refinance is probably in order.
We both have good credit (I’m 780 and she’s 800)
Household income 125K a year.
What are our options to get this kind of thing done? Or is this unrealistic?
