Company I’m currently working for switched to a new payroll company in April, ever since then people have been getting MASSIVELY screwed up paychecks (People getting paid 100$+ an hour for 80 hours) and the new company’s pay stubs DO NOT show the exact amount they overpaid them and asking people to pay back WAY more then they actually overpaid. Our union is “stepping in” but I recently got hired back at said company around a month and a half ago, set up direct deposit and they told me my first paycheck would be a paper check. No problem. 1st payday comes and no check. They were not “sent on time” so I got told it would be pushed to my 2nd payday which would be direct deposit. 2nd payday comes, no direct deposit. I get a call saying “because I’m a rehire, the system messed me up and didn’t send my direct deposit”. Once again I was fine because I had enough savings to cover bills. Now 3rd payday was supposed to hit yesterday and NO DIRECT DEPOSIT AGAIN. What are my options? I don’t wanna walk out and I can’t afford to not work but my bills are coming within a few days and I can’t afford missing out on another paycheck for 2 more weeks, stressing out :(
TLDR; Company switched new payroll 3 months ago, everyone’s pay is completely messed up. Company made excuses as to why my first 2 pays were delayed, never got my 3rd pay tonight. Tight on money and need advice if I can do anything.
