I work for a subcontractor, of a contractor. I live in Michigan, but the company that pays me is listed in California.
I got fired on the 10th, I get paid on the 15th and 30th of every month. I have to take a screenshot of my approved hours and send them to the subcontractor in order to get paid. Because I was fired and got kicked out the system, I have no way to get them.
I looped in management and my supervisor through email who said they are approved, but the subcontractor said they need the actual screenshots.
They said they should be available in July. I was going to wait, but yesterday I went ahead and filed a claim over the phone with the California department because this is ridiculous.
What should I expect?
