Bit of a weird question. I am flying into Dulles with some cash from overseas (received a small inheritance and no way to wire it from here). Usually when you fly in you have to fill out a customs form fincen 105 which goes to the IRS. In the past, it took hours for border patrol to process the form. I saw that the form is now available online for electronic filing. Has anyone had a recent experience with filing it online? Do you still have to wait for something to be processed by the border control or can you bypass the whole procedure there if you filed electronically?
