First time poster here, let me know if this isn't completely OK or if this is the wrong place for this question.
So I woke up to an unexpected deposit in me and my Fiancée bank account. It says IRS TREAS 310 TAX REF, thing is we finished our taxes earlier in the year. We paid what we owed and got our refund (I got refund while my fiancée owed), and we also got our stimulus checks from all rounds. I can't figure out what this is or why we got it. It's more than my fiancée owed so it's not like they decided to refund what we paid. I'd like to be thankful for unexpected money but I'm worried it's a mistake and will be taken back.
Any information is appreciated, thanks in advance.
Edit: additional info- we are in NY and I was on unemployment from Sept 2019 and into 2020. I recently got a job back in February.
Edit 2: got my answer, looks like it's taxes I paid on unemployment before the American Rescue Act got passed. Thanks so much to everyone!
