It can be as simple as upgrading that old laptop instead of buying a new one. Or using office dot com instead of buying ms office. Or having a rooftop antenna/aerial to get TV
Or it could be big, like you have a home media server made of old PC parts. Or rebuild your own engine.
One of my things is I have a playstation plus sub, and only get the free games every month, not the newest releases. 60 bucks per year for mostly solid games is a pretty good deal.
What else you folks do?
