Last year Discover Card helped me with a temporary 12 month relief program that lowered my interest rate to 9% (original is probably around 20%) for a maxed out card of around 12,700. Now that the year is coming to an end, I’ve made 12, $200 payments and the balance is around $12,000. I called them up this morning to see what possible next options are and they informed me they cannot do anything.

I was really trying to build my credit up again but am looking at expensive payments and making far less progress at paying off the principle. Honestly don’t have any good ideas except to just eat the high interest and hope to come into a large chunk of cash to get the balance down. What are good options here?
