I transferred a good chunk of my brokerage account out from Brokerage A to Brokerage B. Within the hour, Brokerage A placed a phone call and assured me that they could match any bonus Brokerage B offered or negotiate any trading fees or commissions.
Has anyone had experience negotiating down commissions with brokerages? This was the first time I learned about the possibility.
What rates did you end up getting, if so?
