My wife and I sold our house in the Denver metro area and netted $200k on the sale as we have been here for 6 years. We are moving out of state to a slightly cheaper cost of living area now that both of our jobs are full telework. We are renting a cheap apartment for the time being, with the eventual goal of buying or building something nice on a lake once the lumber prices cool off in the next year or two. We are completely debt free and already max out our Roth IRA, and company matched 401k's each year, with some more going into additional dividend yielding ETFs on the side. Our household income is $210k/yr. before taxes. We are looking to be fairly risky with the $200k from the house in the hopes of growing it as much as possible over the next two years. We are not looking at anything like crypto or retail/meme stocks, but are thinking about putting it all into companies like Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, etc. Are there any other suggestions? Passive real estate, etc?
