How can the fed possibly say inflation will be 3.4% this year when we’re almost past that in the first 5 months?

What are your opinions on what inflation going to be this year? Are you scaling back purchases more than usual to save money?

We’re already at a 2.7% since January and the year isn’t halfway finished. Kinda worrisome.
