Hey guys, I am 17 years old and I am starting to feel overwhelmed for no reason after getting my first debit card.
I have $1400 cash right now, all in my bank account and I make around $300 a month working once a week. I've been trying to get them to have me work at least twice a week now, and they said they'll keep me updated. I have a car, and the reason I got the job was to pay car insurance (around $200 a month). I'm using the extra $100 I have left off for gas/junk food/etc.
Do you guys suggest I sign up for another job just to rack up some more money for when I hang with friends? I'm really skeptical when it comes to spending because I don't know if my car will break down, I'm constantly worrying about stuff I shouldn't have to worry about. I have an easy senior year coming up and I'd want to work 2-3 days a week for 4 hours each shift. Any advice in general?
