I'm 35 and my wife is 31 and we are having our first kid in November. I've always been terrible at buying groceries for us. I eat healthy and usually buy the same stuff. I never buy things like snacks, bread, milk, potatoes, and basically stuff that comes in a box or package besides tortilla chips lol.
So, my grocery bill is pretty high with next to nothing in my buggy. I make around 100k each year and my wife makes 45k. What are things I should start buying and how do people not go broke trying to feed a family and be healthy? I grew up pretty poor and we grew up on canned food, fried everything, hamburger helper, sandwiches...etc
I've chose not to eat that way based on a variety of reason. Any tips or ideas will be helpful. Should I just not worry much about trying to eat good all the time and just enjoy life? This has been driving me nuts for months 🤦♂️
