Hello all! Pretty new to the sub so please let me know if this post is not specific enough.
(Context)
My wife and I are wanting to investing in both stocks and real estate so we can achieve FIRE. So we started researching on YouTube, books and podcasts of successful investors and found a ton of great value. BUT we noticed a trend of content being suggested to us about the "Next market crash" or "Real estate is over priced! It's about to drop!". All this BS clickbait content is annoying but I give it a listen and the content is convincing of a market crash actually happening.
My question and TLDR for seasoned investors
Has media always been talking about "The Next market crash" for decades? Or is this time different? Or is it all bullshit noise most of the time? It always seems like there's a "This time it's different" comment but I questions it's legitimacy.
Thank you!
