Might be a stupid question but I thought about it today...When people say "set aside money for ________" (the blank could be a vacation, car, home, emergency fund, etc) does this mean they are putting money into a different account all together? Different bank? Just making sure not to spend money and let the savings allocate in their checking's or saving's account? Cash? Spreadsheet? How exactly does one keep tabs on these savings?
