I'm going to move about 1000 miles in July. I've done this once before about ten years ago, but I'd like to be smart about the costs this time. So far I've found Budget to be the cheapest truck rental for the job by about $300. I'm worried there's a reason it's so much lower than Uhaul or Penske. Anyone have a bad experience or know a better way to save? I need a truck that holds about 1 bedroom or maybe 2.
I'm also open to other ways to save on moving. I'm not hiring movers, just in case that wasn't already clear.
