My father passed away yesterday and I’m arranging his funeral as well as getting his things in order. I think I’m okay on the funeral front but being a 21 year old student I don’t know how to deal with all the rest.
My father was quite secretive and I don’t even know what assets he has. He used to live in southeast Asia and my step mother told me that he had a bank account in Thailand, a storage unit in the Phillipines as well as ‘bond money’. What does that mean and what steps should I take to deal with those things? How do I make sure that we have everything in order? How do I know if I’m missing anything?
