My dad is very sick in the hospital, not alert, nor able to make any decisions on his own. The probability of him pulling through is worsening.
I have most of what I think are his bills, excluding his mortgage and car payment. I haven't seen a ton of paperwork on either so I suspect those are automatic withdraws (I will be following up on those).
Where do I start? I wanted to start with his mortgage and move on to utilities. He has dependants and they need to have a roof over their heads.
Do mortgage/utility companies do forbearance for an ill person who is several months past due?
