Just curious to see what people think. It's a common theme among young people I know - "life is objectively much harder for me (at least financially) than it was for my parents". I find it hard to figure out what the real/objective (to the extent that one exists) truth is in this debate, there are arguments to be made on either side.
Education and housing are probably the biggest issues here as these are the easiest to point to in terms of being objectively more expensive now than in the past.
