I spent time on a degree that I'm not using yet (hopefully soon if covid goes away), but I did manage to land a different kind of job. The pay isn't that great, but I need to start doing something to secure a better financial future. Any advice on what I can do/read to help me invest in my future at such a late start? I know starting now is better than not starting at all. I'm just overwhelmed with all the information out there. Other than a 401k and a simple savings that will hold 6 months of living expenses, what else can I be doing? Any advice would be helpful.
