Fellow renters, how much of your monthly take home pay do you spend on rent?

I feel like all the places I work do not pay me enough for the cost of living. Right now I pay more than 50% for my one bedroom, yes, you read that right. The next place I’m going it’ll be like 40%, even for a cheaper place.
