Hi, first time posting here, so I hope this is the appropriate place for this question: I split the electric bill 6 ways, and instead of dividing it from the accrual total the "head" of the house decided to charge everyone $50 each. This is in the Midwest and last month the AC and heat wasn't turned on at all. Does $300 seem high for an average sized house with 6 people? Most of us are gone during the day expect for one person who just watches tv like it's their religion.
