Hello guys, I’m from the UK 25 y/o male that lives by myself in a rented house for the past year and a half. I’ve got strong personal finance with a couple of routes of credit that I’ve built up over the past few years. I never use over 1% of my credit and always pay off on time. I have no debt or negatives on my credit score with ClearScore.
My internet contract is expiring in a couple of months, so I’ve bought new internet with BT to begin the day before my old internet expires. They’ve ran a hard search on my credit report and I’ve woken up to a score of 203 (down -236 from previous month) with this BT hard search.
This can’t be right, what can I do about it (if anything)? I’ve never had any debt problems or repayment problems, I’ve got healthy savings and I only use a credit card to help build my payment history.
