This may or may not be the place to post this, but it is, in my opinion, a good thing to look for for.
My windshield on my car was cracked and I initially looked through my insurance to see if it was covered. It wasn't and my deductible was over the price to repair so it sent me to the Safelite website.
When originally quoted, the price was 339 plus some fees and taxes and I didn't think much about it. I tried using a coupon code I found online but none worked and I was initially ok with it.
At some point in the day I remember seeing those coupon codes had a disclaimer saying it couldn't be used when going through insurance. I wasn't going through insurance technically but I did get redirected from their website.
So I went on Safelite's website on my own and found that it was already $30 dollar cheaper to start with and I could use a $40 dollar coupon. So I saved overall about $75 with taxes included.
Don't know if this will ever apply to anyone else but may be good to know, for more things than just windshields too.
