I don't really want to get into the specifics of it, but ever since I was about 11 or 12 I had dreams of leaving the US and living abroad, it's nothing political, I just want to see the world and it's a dream I still have today.

I'm currently 20 and a sophomore studying computer science with a 3.9X GPA, I go to a cheap school and live at home, so combined with some scholarship money I don't have any student loans to pay. My plan is to graduate at 22, work for 2-3 years in the teach industry while living at home to gain expirence and save money, and at around 24-25 I plan to start trying to find a job abroad.

I know at this age most people would tell me to start contributing to a retirement account, building credit, etc, however it is too my knowledge that credit scores don't follow you abroad, and retirement programs vary by country, and while I don't plan on racking up CC debt and spending like an idiot before fleeing the US, I also don't really know if there is anything I should do besides save for the move.

Do any american emigrants have any advice?
