A little backstory - I work in a small beauty salon and my employer recently hired a receptionist (never had one before in 10 years working here). The owner of the beauty salon, aka my boss, is making all the employees put out $X each week out of our own paycheck towards the receptionist's pay. Is this legal? Not too sure where to find the answer to this so I figured this was a good place to start.
