TLDR: How much less expensive is bar soap vs body wash?
Has anybody already done this? How much less expensive is bar soap vs body wash? Big brands like Dove make nearly the same product in both offerings. Had anybody looked at the price difference between say 100 bathings with a bar soap and a washcloth and 100 bathings with body wash and a loofah? There has to be at least a few frugal engineers locked inside in the last year who has a spreadsheet...
Extra credit, how much less waste is there and what one is more responsible for filling your landfill?
For reference a bottle of Dove Bodywash is .21cents per ounce when bought in bulk Dove bar soap is .29 cents per ounce.
Clearly an ounce of bar soap goes further...
