I wasn't sure where to ask this question but I think the PF community would be a good one to ask. I am interning this summer in the city that I live in. Since most of the interns are not from the city, my employer is giving everyone a $2500 living stipend for the 10 weeks that they will be here. My Wife and I would like to offer up our spare bedroom for $1500 for the duration of the internship, leaving $1000 for food and other expenses. Air BNBs in the area are going for roughly $800 a month and there are not enough of them. I was planning on posting the ad in the facebook group for the interns and giving the room to the first person that responds to avoid any favoritism. Does anyone think this is a bad idea in any way? Should I check with HR to make sure this is okay with them?
