Biden said he wants to significantly increase spending on science and technology (research and development) in fields of quantum computing , AI , robotics and biotech to compete with China how come Nasdaq, Arkw and Arkg futures are not up . Will this news impact the tech sector in any way short to mid term? I felt his comments would bolster a sector which is beaten down of late. A proposed increase from 0.7 percent to 2 percent of the federal budget as he stated would be massive . Is it too early to tell for market movers to comprehend this . I personally thought Nasdaq futures would respond positively to this news and be up pretty big. What are your thoughts?
