I have been a mint user since the very beginning. I tolerated the increase in ads, then the eventual sale to Intuit. Even fixed the account problems when they tried merging other unrelated Intuit accounts. Today, finally had enough.
I know it has been crappy for a while, but all my accounts were in there and I liked using the app to check on things periodically. I don't really use budgets, but I have a bunch of different accounts and this made it easy to keep tabs.
Today I got a push notice from mint (which I had previously disabled). "LOG IN NOW FOR YOUR CHANCE TO WIN 10k". WTF is this? Some sort of King game that got installed on my phone? NO, its freaking mint! What an unprofessional Pile of crap.
So I'm walking away. Spent about an hour moving everything over to PF and wow, its 100x better. I then tried deleting all my mint accounts. Sometimes they would delete, then pop back up. Very frustrating. Sure I could just delete the mint account, but I wanted to overwrite my account details before.
Finally got through the intuit account to delete it. 90% there. Braving through incessant begging to stop me from deleting. Then they said, hey, you should really download all the data we have on you. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea in the event this blows up... ok". So I did it... DONT DO IT. Now they won't allow me to delete my account for up to 45 days! Oh go to hell!
